Gordon’s Bay Race 2006

On 29 and 30 July 2006 Cape Windjammers Education Trust participated with 13 youth in the Gordon’s Bay Race organised by False Bay Yacht Club, sailing from Simon’s Town to Gordon’s Bay and back the next day.The youth were selected from our partner organizations Trinity International Project, Christel House SA, Zeekovlei Yacht Club and Izivunguvungu Sailing School. Youth participants were put together in teams to crew on yachts, whose skippers had agreed to include a youth crew in their team.
