Volunteering

Stefan Meschenat, from Augsburg, Germany; CWET volunteer from October to December 2005. Stefan supported us in drafting a business plan, developing financial instruments tools and also started a Corporate Design for us.
Ulli Rautenberg, from Wiesbaden, Germany; CWET volunteer on a part time basis between November 2006 and February 2006. Ulli helped us in particular to develop our communication material.
Sanna Räisänen, from Jyväskylä, Finland, CWET volunteer from January to August 2006; Sanna moved us far in developing our communication material for various stakeholders, compiled a comprehensive donor database and as part of her masters thesis she developed a fudnraising strategy for CWET. Old Mutual Care and Share Week faciltated by Greater Good SA: The Old Mutual Team did a stunning job in giving CWET's Snowgoose a major facelift on SWEAT DAY. Anna, together with her fellow students Sonja Beitz and Nicole Flock participated in a PR award in Germany in April 2007 and developed a marketing strategy to obtain a suitable sail training vessel for CWET.
Adrian Kiedrowski, from Oldenburg, Germany, CWET volunteer from January to March 2007. He supported us in developing our programme for local educational training under sail voyages Anja Steting, from Mainz, Germany; CWET volunteer since March 2007. Anja has done an amazing job in developing our communication material, the webblog for the Team SA joining the Tall Ship Race and a lot more to raise awareness for this exciting project. Anja will stay with us till September this year!

Julia Dröge, From Berlin, Germany, studying towards a Masters of Arts in Social Sciences at the Humboldt University, Berlin. Julia has a special interest in the perceptions of “home” amongst Cape Town Youth and worked with CWET between November 07 and February 08 to collect data for her Masters Thesis.  

Tess Godefroit from Herselt, Belgium, studying towards a Post-Bachelor Degree in International Communication at the University College of Plantin, Antwerp. CWET volunteer since February 2008 until the end of May this year. She will support us in our communication and PR material. She has already drafted our brochures for this year's Tall Ship Race 2008!
